The name says it all. This is our biggest, most profound whiskey for the Boss Hog in all of us.

This IVth. edition of The Boss Hog, The Black Prince, is a tribute to the great spirits of Europe. 

This is the first Rye Whiskey ever finished in Armagnac casks, straight from France. The result is extraordinary. A fine balance between American power and French sophistication. There’s nothing else like it.

Nose: Armagnac-accented oak contributes to the Black Prince being redolent with notes of apricot, fig, and plum.

Palate: Apricot, clove, and cinnamon, with hints of citrus and black tea.

Finish: Linger like the longing for a lost love, comforts with traces of toasted marshmallows, burnt sugar, and dried fruit.
